How to Measure

Prepare Your Hair: Flatten your hair down (braids or cornrows) just as you would wear it under the wig to ensure an accurate measurement.

Position the Tape: Place a soft measuring tape at the center of your front hairline.

Wrap Around: Guide the tape gently around your head, to the nape of your neck and back up to the starting point.

Check the Number: Read the measurement in inches. This is your head circumference.
Pro Tips for a Flawless Fit
- Protect Your Scalp: A too-tight cap can cause pressure and irritation, especially for sensitive scalps. Never size down.
- Prevent Awkward Slipping: A loose cap leads to shifting. If you are between sizes, go slightly larger and secure it with our built-in adjustable straps and elastic bands.

Sizing FAQs
Is there an extra fee for Small or Large cap sizes?
No! Whether you need an XS, Small, Medium, Large, XL, or XXL cap size, the wig price remains exactly the same. We believe the perfect fit should never come with a hidden cost.
I have a small head and struggle to find wigs that fit. Will JALIZA wigs fit me?
Yes! We specialize in true inclusive sizing. Our XS (19.5") and Small (21.25") caps are engineered specifically for petite heads, so you never have to deal with baggy caps or bunching at the nape again.
How do I know if I need a Small or Medium cap?
Please measure your head circumference accurately. The key boundary is usually 22 inches (our Medium Cap). If your measurement is below 21.25 inches, we strongly recommend a Small. If your head circumference is beyond 22 inches, you should choose the Large, XL, or XXL.
What if my measurement is right between two sizes?
We highly recommend choosing the slightly larger size (sizing UP). Our wigs come with an adjustable elastic band and built-in straps, allowing you to easily tighten the cap for a secure fit. A cap that is too small cannot be adjusted to fit comfortably.
Can I make a Medium cap work if I really need a Small cap?
While you can use the adjustable straps to tighten a medium cap, we DO NOT recommend it for the best look. A cap that is too large can look bulky and prevent the wig from lying perfectly flat. We always advise ordering the Small or XS for a flawless, natural fit.
Will the wig fit if I have thick locs or a lot of natural hair?
Absolutely. If you have thick natural hair, locs, or plan to leave your hair out underneath, we strongly advise sizing up to a Large (L), Extra Large (XL), or XXL to accommodate the extra volume without feeling restrictive.
What if my wig arrives and the cap feels too big or too small?
First, try adjusting the elastic strap inside the wig. If the fit is still incorrect, don't worry! We accept returns and exchanges on unworn, unaltered wigs. Please check our Return & Exchange Policy for easy processing.
Do all JALIZA wigs come in all cap sizes?
We strive to offer our most popular styles in our core sizes. However, inventory levels can vary for specialty sizes like XS and XXL. Please check the Cap Size variants on the product page. In-stock products ship within 24 hours, while Pre-Sale or Custom sizes take 1-2 weeks to meticulously craft.
Can JALIZA make a fully custom cap size for me?
