| XL (Extra Large) | 23.5" or below | Very full head sizes or customers who always feel “large” caps are still snug. |
*Tip: If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing UP. You can always tighten the wig with the included adjustable elastic band & adjustable straps. If your head circumference is larger than 23.5", you can contact us for custom cap of XXL.
How To Measure
- Prepare your hair: Flatten your hair down (braids or cornrows) just as you would wear it under the wig.
- Position the tape: Place a soft measuring tape at the center of your front hairline.
- Wrap around: Guide the tape around to the nape of your neck and back up to the starting point.
- Check the number: Read the measurement in inches. This is your circumference.
Common Questions
Q: Is there an extra fee for Small or Large cap sizes?
A: No. Whether you need an XS, Small, Medium, Large or XL cap size, the wig price remains exactly the same.
Q: I have a small head and struggle to find wigs that fit. Will JALIZA wigs fit me?
A: Yes! We specialize in inclusive sizing. Our XS (19.5") and Small (21.25") caps are designed specifically for petite heads, so you don't have to deal with baggy caps anymore.
Q: How do I know if I need a small cap or medium cap?
A: Please measure your head circumference accurately. The key boundary is usually 22 inches, which is our Medium Cap Size. If your measurement is below 21.25 inches, we strongly recommend a Small. If your head circumference is beyond 22 inches, you should choose the Large Cap or XXL Cap.
Q: My measurement is between two sizes. What should I choose?
A: **Always size up.** It is much easier to secure a slightly larger cap using the adjustable straps and elastic band than it is to comfortably wear a cap that is too small.
Q: Can I make a medium cap work if I really need a small cap?
A: While you can use the adjustable straps and elastic band to tighten a medium cap, we DO NOT recommend it for the best look. A cap that is too large can look bulky and prevent the wig from lying flat and looking natural. We advise ordering the Small or XS for a flawless fit.
Q: What if my wig arrives and the cap feels too big or too small?
A: First, try adjusting the elastic strap inside the wig. If the fit is still incorrect, please check our Return & Exchange Policy. We accept returns/exchanges on unworn, unaltered wigs.
Q: Do all JALIZA wigs come in all five cap sizes?
A: We strive to offer our most popular and newly released styles in all five sizes (XS-XL). However, inventory levels can vary. Please check the Cap Size Variants on the product page, you will see the product whether is in-stock or on Pre-Sale status. In stock products will be shipped out within 24 business hours and Pre-Sale/Custom products take 1-2 weeks to craft.
Q: Can JALIZA make a fully custom cap size for me?
A: Our five standard sizes cover the fit needs of over 99% of our customers. While we do not offer fully custom caps, like XXL (with non-standard measurements) for every order, please feel free to contact our support team if you have an extremely unique requirement, and we will do our best to accommodate.
