Deep Wave Braided Wigs

A deep wave braided wig is a wig that combines two distinct styles: braids and a deep wave texture. This means the wig is pre-braided, but with loose strands of hair that have a very tight, defined "S" pattern—known as the deep wave. This style creates a voluminous, full, and often dramatic look. It is a popular choice for those who want a bold, curly-looking style without the daily maintenance of a traditional deep wave wig.

Deep Wave: Features a tight, consistent, and well-defined "S" pattern. The curls are much tighter and closer together than a body wave, which gives the wig a lot more volume and a fuller, more "curly" appearance. Deep wave hair holds its curl pattern exceptionally well.

Body Wave: Has a looser, more relaxed "S" wave pattern. It creates a soft, natural, and more subtle wavy look. Body wave is generally considered lower-maintenance and more versatile for styling, as it can be straightened more easily than deep wave hair.

It is generally not recommended to swim with your wig, as chlorine and saltwater can damage the hair fibers and cause extreme tangling and matting. If you must, wear a swim cap and thoroughly rinse and deep condition the wig immediately afterward.

A density of 100 strands is popular for deep wave wigs, as it provides a full, voluminous and lightweight look. Higher densities 121 strands can be very glamorous and fuller. 80 strands is more lightweight than 100 and 121 strands.

Round Faces: Deep wave wigs with medium or long lengths can help elongate the face and add definition. A side part can also be very flattering.

Oval Faces: This face shape is considered the most versatile and can pull off nearly any length or style of deep wave braided wig.

Square Faces: Longer lengths and face-framing curls can help soften a strong jawline. Wigs with a softer, less-defined part can also be a good choice.

Heart-Shaped Faces: Styles with a center or side part and layers around the chin can balance a wider forehead.
