FAQ

How is a Braided Weft different from Crochet Braids?

The difference is in the installation method. Crochet braids have a loop and are hooked onto cornrows individually. JALIZA Boho Braided Wefts are pre-braided onto a continuous track (like a weave). You sew them directly onto your cornrows using a needle and thread. This creates a much flatter base than crochet knots and installs significantly faster because you are attaching a whole row of braids at once, not one by one.

How many bundles do I need for a full head vs. a hybrid install?

For a Hybrid Look (Most Popular): You typically need 1 bundle. Use the weft to quickly fill the back and middle of your head, then use individual box braids (using our Bulk Human Hair or Pre Looped Crochet Braids) for the perimeter and partings to give a natural, "scalp" appearance.

For a Full Sew-In: You will need 2-3 bundles depending on the desired volume and head size.

Can I cut the weft to fit my head size?

Yes! You can cut the weft track to fit specific sections of your cornrow pattern. However, do not cut the actual braids. When cutting the weft track, we recommend sealing the cut end of the track with a little nail glue or fabric glue to ensure the stitching doesn't unravel over time.

How do I maintain the human hair boho curls?

Because JALIZA uses 100% Virgin Human Hair for the boho curls (and premium synthetic for the braid structure), you need to treat the curls with the same love as your own hair.

Daily: Refresh the loose curls with a water mist or light leave-in conditioner to maintain their bounce.

Weekly: Detangle the curls gently with your fingers to prevent matting.

Night: Protection is key. We highly recommend wearing our JALIZA 100% Pure Mulberry Silk Sleep Bonnet to reduce friction. This simple step keeps the curls soft and tangle-free for 4-8 weeks.

Can these wefts be reused?

Yes. Because the braids are structurally reinforced and the curls are human hair, JALIZA Braided Wefts are highly durable. If you remove the sew-in thread carefully, you can wash the weft, condition the curls, and reinstall them for a second or third wear, making them a great long-term investment.
